Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Seven Islands Resort in Watamu was a delightful blend of relaxation and adventure, perfectly suited for a wildlife conservationist like myself. The resort's splendid Arabic, Swahili, and Indian design truly captivated my senses, complemented by handmade furniture and the enchanting glow of intricate brass lanterns. I was fortunate to have a room with an expansive balcony overlooking the stunning beach, where I could easily catch the sunrise while savoring my morning coffee. While the breakfast offerings were limited, I appreciated the availability of fresh fruit and an egg station to start the day on a positive note. The resort's private beach area, noted for its beauty, provided a serene backdrop for contemplating the interconnectedness of wildlife and nature. Once settled, the warm hospitality and cleanliness of the rooms were commendable. If you're seeking an authentic East African experience filled with relaxation and ethical engagement with nature, this resort offers a commendable option. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Watamu Beach.
